Launching with Throughlines, celebrating 185 years of Rock Hall
Eutelle is a new magazine born from a simple but powerful belief: our stories matter. They carry meaning, connect generations, and remind us that heritage is not only about the past, but about how we continue to live it every day.
We’re launching now for a special reason. From September 2025 through September 2026, the village of Rock Hall is celebrating its 185th anniversary. This milestone invites us to look back at the journey from a free village to today — and to honour the people, families, and traditions that continue to shape it.
Why Throughlines?
Each issue of Eutelle explores a theme. For our first edition, we chose Throughlines — because stories don’t live in isolation. They are connected by threads that cross time, families, and place.
Throughlines invites us to trace those threads:
- From the history of Rock Hall’s founding
- Through family stories of resilience and discovery
- To the ways the village lives, remembers, and celebrates today
What You’ll Find in Issue 1
This first issue will unfold over the next few weeks — not all at once, but in a rhythm that allows you to follow along and return for new pieces. Among what’s to come:
- Rock Hall: Journey Through a Free Village — a feature on the village’s founding and evolution
- Chasing a Clan — a personal story of genealogy and discovery
- Legacy Moments — short, powerful stories highlighting the lived experiences of the community
- Evolution Through Time — an interactive timeline bringing Rock Hall’s history to life
- Profiles and archives spotlighting the people who carried Rock Hall’s vision forward
Together, these pieces form a collective witness — a living record of heritage carried forward by memory and meaning.
Join Us on the Journey
This is just the beginning. Our first full feature goes live on October 1. Until then, we invite you to explore, subscribe, and share this space with others who share your interest in family history and heritage.
Rock Hall’s story is one of freedom, resilience, and connection. In telling it, we honour not just a village, but the many threads of heritage that hold meaning in our lives.
✨ Be part of this journey — our stories, our legacy.
